Experience with CI/CD tools, at least one programming language/framework outside of Salesforce, and cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is necessary. A strong understanding of user interface design best practices for Salesforce applications, the ability to define and enforce governance policies, security best practices, and scalability principles, and excellent communication skills are also essential.

This role involves defining and enforcing governance policies, security best practices, and scalability principles, and ensuring seamless integration between Salesforce and enterprise systems. Responsibilities include providing guidance on Apex, LWC, and Salesforce Flows, reviewing technical documentation, performing code reviews, and defining best practices for development, integration, and deployment. The engineer will implement automation strategies, work in an agile manner to ship new features, participate in an on-call rotation for production support, and coach junior team members. They will also collaborate with government partners and other technology leaders, and participate in hiring activities.
