Requirements

  • Thorough knowledge of price optimization tools, user functionality, and modeling logic
  • Understanding of business strategy and DDAT strategy to address pricing gaps across all 50 categories
  • Proficiency in working with data to develop measures, metrics, and actionable insights, including first-level analyses to identify trends
  • Strong influencing skills at all levels, up to cross-functional SVPs
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong presentation skills
  • Ability to drive efficient planning processes with strong project management discipline across boundaries
  • Capability to be adaptable, maintain a positive attitude through challenges, and act as a capable leader

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary contact for Pricing Managers, providing support with optimization, troubleshooting issues, and best-practice guidance
  • Consult with Pricing Managers on translating category/pricing strategies into scenario inputs (objective functions, guardrail constraints), assessing/comparing outputs, refining model inputs, and resolving infeasibilities
  • Interface with Data Science, Data Engineering, and platform teams on issues from Pricing Managers during scenario testing, providing feedback on tool performance, user experience, and improvements
  • Establish a clear, prioritized activity roadmap to deliver company ambitions, including changes in products, policies, or processes, with collaboration across stakeholders
  • Facilitate training and knowledge sharing to elevate the team's proficiency with the optimization tool
  • Drive adoption of appropriate optimization techniques and new capabilities to advance CVS's value proposition
  • Assign appropriate timelines and accountabilities for items, empowering the team
