Requirements

Candidates should have a strong background in software engineering, preferably with Go and/or Python, and experience with infrastructure tooling, ideally Terraform. Extensive experience with AWS cloud computing is required, along with a grounding in a specific technical area in the platform space such as Containers, Kafka, or Networking. Experience with datastores like PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and/or Redis, as well as experience working closely with customer engineering groups, are considered optional but beneficial.

Responsibilities

The Platform Engineer will contribute to building, operating, and running the production platform, managing cloud infrastructure, compute clusters, observability tooling, and data stores. Responsibilities include writing, reviewing, and shipping code that affects large parts of the company's systems, deploying code into production, monitoring system health, and cooperating with stakeholders to deliver projects on time.
