Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred, along with physician recruitment experience in a healthcare or insurance setting. Equivalent transferable skills will be considered. Prior experience in a healthcare and/or insurance business environment is preferred. Strong negotiation, communication, critical thinking, organizational, time management, and deadline adherence skills are required. High computer literacy and typing proficiency are necessary. A reliable, uninterrupted internet connection is mandatory for remote work.

Responsibilities

The Physician Panel Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the physician panel by negotiating fees, updating physician records, and conducting outreach to expand the panel. They will onboard new physicians by collecting necessary documentation and finalizing fees, and provide onboarding instructions. Additionally, the coordinator will assist physician reviewers with inquiries, source physicians for urgent service requests, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure network coverage aligns with client needs. Participation in special projects and other duties as needed are also part of the role.
