Position Overview

Pyka is seeking a Technical Sourcer Contractor with at least 1 year of experience. The ideal candidate is scrappy, strategic, and relentless in identifying top-tier talent. This role is crucial for building talent pipelines across Pyka's engineering, manufacturing, and flight operations departments. You will manage candidate engagement from initial outreach through to hand-off with the recruiter.

You will collaborate closely with our Sr. Recruiter, hiring managers, and the People team to gain a deep understanding of open roles, team dynamics, and the unique skill sets required to develop autonomous aircraft that will revolutionize the world.

Both aircraft are highly economical to operate, easy to deploy, and significantly reduce CO2 emissions in their respective sectors.

Responsibilities

• Source passive technical talent using platforms such as LinkedIn, Juicebox, social media, niche communities, and boolean searches.
• Develop and nurture talent pipelines for critical roles in engineering, flight operations, manufacturing, and other areas.
• Collaborate closely with hiring teams to define ideal candidate profiles and refine sourcing strategies.
• Monitor pipeline health and track sourcing metrics using Greenhouse.
• Manage the entire candidate outreach experience, from initial contact to a warm handoff to the recruiter.
• Stay updated on market trends and sourcing tools, and proactively test and recommend new approaches.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience sourcing technical talent (software, hardware, etc.) within a startup environment.
• Proficient sourcing skills utilizing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and employing creative search strategies.
• Excellent communication and follow-through abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple roles and priorities effectively without compromising quality.
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and embracing iterative processes, reflecting Pyka's fast-paced nature.
• Bonus points for experience with roles related to aviation, robotics, or autonomy.

• Wage Range: $45-53/hr. Compensation is dependent on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly wage ranges are subject to change.
