Requirements

Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in an engineering leadership role and 5 years of hands-on experience as a performance/software engineer. A passion for high-performance/load SaaS solutions, public cloud experience (preferably AWS), and deep knowledge of complex, scaling SaaS products are required. Experience with Microservice architecture, containerized CI/CD deployments (Docker, Kubernetes), architecting highly distributed and available systems, strong technical documentation abilities, and a solid understanding of scrum and agile methodology are essential. Effective leadership and mentoring abilities are also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Performance Engineering Manager will lead a team focused on critical aspects of the Identity Security Cloud Platform, addressing complex technical challenges related to scalability and reliability. Responsibilities include reducing technical debt, making investment decisions, and collaborating with Product Managers, Designers, Architects, Quality, DevOps, and Customer Facing teams. The role involves understanding business problems and engineering challenges to propose elegant software architecture designs, creating project schedules, motivating teams, participating in technical decision-making, implementing iterative changes, and developing long-term plans for scaling and enhancing the platform's reliability.
