Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, and have 4 to 6 years of experience in a related field. Experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

The Performance Engineer will design, develop, and maintain comprehensive automated performance tests to ensure system reliability, scalability, and responsiveness across applications. They will analyze performance test results, identify and mitigate weaknesses and inefficiencies, develop and report on metrics, bugs, and issues affecting performance, collaborate with development and operations teams to design performance benchmarks and monitoring solutions, assist the team in estimating future system requirements, conduct thorough performance assessments including load testing and capacity planning, promote performance standards and best practices, provide guidance and training to software engineers, and assist with the troubleshooting and resolution of complex performance-related issues.
