Candidates must possess a minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in People Operations, preferably within early-stage or scaling startups, with at least 1 year in a management capacity. A strong understanding of U.S. employment law and familiarity with global employment law and compliance are essential. The ideal candidate is a self-starter capable of working autonomously, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high level of ambiguity. They should be results-driven, able to make decisions with limited information, drive change, and possess exceptional communication skills to engage and influence at all organizational levels. Experience with immigration and employee benefits is a plus.
The People Operations Manager will be responsible for designing and implementing a streamlined onboarding process to ensure a positive new hire experience. This role involves building and maintaining an internal HR Wiki to centralize policies, resources, and processes, as well as launching an HR ticketing system. The manager will drive employee engagement initiatives, take action based on feedback, and build programs focused on employee retention and long-term engagement. Additionally, they will lead the development of learning and development programs.
