People Operations Analyst

Position Overview

Anaplan is seeking a People Operations Analyst to join our People Team. This role is based in Northern VA or Minneapolis with a hybrid schedule, requiring two days per week in an office where one exists.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with various internal partners within the People Team, including Centers of Excellence team members and HR Business Partners.
  • Liaise with external partners and business leaders to address inquiries.
  • Respond to People Team inquiries and issues, providing support to all employees and management levels.
  • Manage the intake of employee issues.
  • Offer daily support to HRBPs for internal client needs, projects, processes, and training.
  • Input and maintain accurate employee data in Workday and other People systems, including new hires, terminations, and data changes.
  • Develop and maintain operational knowledge of People Team processes, systems, and services.
  • Assist in creating and facilitating documentation for personnel files.
  • Support compliance with regulatory requirements and audit sample selection/validation.
  • Operate with integrity, respect, and high personal standards regarding confidentiality.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in HR/People Operations roles, preferably with global teams.
  • A self-starter with a strong desire to learn and work on multiple projects and programs.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to build trust and credibility with employees at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with HR Systems (e.g., Workday, Greenhouse) is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
