The Payroll Implementation Manager should have experience in overseeing payroll system implementations and data migrations. They must be skilled in managing project plans, client and project management, defining payroll process requirements, and system configuration. Experience with GL report mapping and generating payroll data analysis and reconciliation reports is also required.
The Payroll Implementation Manager will be responsible for leading the full payroll implementation process, including organizing kick-off meetings and delivering implementations. They will create and manage project plans, support project review calls, coordinate project streams, and manage changes to scope and schedule. Key duties include defining and setting up client payroll processes, managing payroll calendars, maintaining project documentation, configuring systems for parallel and live payroll, and ensuring successful go-live transitions with client sign-off. They will also generate reports for payroll data analysis, auditing, and reconciliation.
