Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product Specialists to interpret country-specific payroll compliance requirements and translate them into technical specifications for payroll engine development.
  • Educate the Product team on legislation and ensure accurate implementation of technical specifications by the Development team through rigorous testing.
  • Develop and maintain legislative specifications for reports and integrations, ensuring new in-country requirements are incorporated into the product for ongoing compliance.
  • Facilitate continuous upskilling and compliance awareness within the Product team by collaborating on new in-country requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 4 years of payroll experience in Switzerland with advanced knowledge of local payroll practices.
  • Strong working knowledge of local regulations and policies pertaining to payroll and HR.
  • Swissdec certification is considered an advantage.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines accurately and on time.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for client interaction and stakeholder alignment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex issues in an understandable manner.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Strong proficiency in English.
  • Experience in multiple country jurisdictions is an advantage.
  • Experience supporting the design, build, and implementation of a multi-region Payroll Solution is an advantage.
