Candidates must have a minimum of one year of experience in a customer service environment, with experience in data entry and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word). A high school diploma or GED is required. Preferred qualifications include experience in home infusion or durable medical equipment (DME), call center experience, and prior healthcare environment work.
The Patient Care Representative will process monthly patient refill requests, ensuring accurate documentation before shipping orders. They will process new patient orders, update electronic medical records, and collaborate with the patient admissions department. Responsibilities include answering incoming calls from patients, caregivers, and referral sources regarding order status, processing prescription changes, triaging calls to appropriate departments, and verifying patient demographics and insurance information.
