Responsibilities

The Part Time Patient Success Associate will answer high-volume inbound patient phone calls, manage copay collections, and communicate with other departments for patient needs. Responsibilities include creating partner cases, posting late cancels, reviewing patient electronic communications, and maintaining billing ledgers for specific insurance requests. The role also involves assisting teammates with projects, learning the basics of insurance billing (PPOs, HMOs, Medicare, Workers Comp), maintaining knowledge of medical billing practices, and supporting administrative functions. This includes queue-based work such as authorizations and insurance payment posting, achieving set goals, and performing ad hoc tasks as directed by management.
