Are you passionate about ensuring accurate and efficient medical billing and coding processes? We're looking for a dedicated professional to join our Claims Success Team and play a key role in driving timely payments, reducing accounts receivable, and supporting patients with billing clarity and care.

In this role, you'll assist with authorizations, claims management, insurance payments, and patient billing inquiries while contributing to process improvements and team training. If you're detail-oriented, a great communicator, and ready to make a meaningful impact, we'd love to hear from you!

How You Will Have an Impact

  • Able to assist with all Associate I functions
  • Defined departmental work: Authorizations, Insurance Payments, Patient Payments, AR or Claims
  • Input and development for Process creation or Process Improvement as needed
  • Assist in specific areas of training for that department for new hires and shadowing teams
  • Act as the first level of patient phone call escalation from Associates and Admins
  • Assist and support interdepartmental coordination and support
  • Manages all documentation and shared information about payers to all other teams
  • Performs Ad Hoc tasks at managers discretion

What You Can Offer Luna

  • Organized with the ability to identify and track progress against priorities
  • 1-2 years of experience with medical accounts receivable, preferably in outpatient therapy
  • Proven experience in healthcare billing
  • Demonstrated training ability

Span of Control

  • Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations.
  • Normally receives little instruction on daily work, general instructions on newly introduced assignments.

Compensation

  • $17 - $23 an hour
  • Salary is dependent on experience and location: $17-$23
