Thumbtack is seeking a Partner Success Manager, Pro & Marketplace to be the primary contact for Thumbtack’s Pro & Marketplace partners. This role is responsible for their onboarding, implementation, and growth, directly impacting marketplace expansion. The position involves facilitating issue resolution, identifying growth opportunities, and leveraging experience to suggest new partner strategies.

About the Partnerships Team

The Partnerships Team focuses on acquiring and growing partners in categories such as Field Service Management (FSM), agencies, CRM, messaging, payments, finance, estimation, and other tools that enhance professional success and operational efficiency on the marketplace. The team also collaborates with cross-functional partners in product, operations, sales, and marketing to ensure successful partner implementations.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Pro and marketplace Partners, with full accountability for their growth and success.
  • Own the renewal process for Supply Partners, including contracts and upselling.
  • Support the maintenance of the partnership program & ecosystem to increase partner value by driving net new revenue through lead generation, brand awareness, and integration adoption.
  • Enable co-selling and co-marketing initiatives, including training for partners and the internal sales team.
  • Manage partner relationships by setting strategic goals, KPIs, and initiatives for continued success.
  • Provide API and integration guidance to partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Work cross-functionally with product, sales, success, and marketing teams to drive continued Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy with partners.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, customer success, sales, or similar customer-facing roles (preferably with SaaS and/or Enterprise customers).
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of accounts that met or exceeded quota or defined KPIs.
  • Salesforce or similar CRM experience is required.
  • Must be a technology enthusiast, positively curious, and eager to build and learn.
  • Proven ability to manage, utilize, and prioritize time and efforts.

Expected Salary Ranges

  • San Francisco / Bay Area, San Jose, New York City, or Seattle metros: $148,800 - $193,000
  • Austin, TX or Washington DC metros, or California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, or Washington states: $142,400 - $184,000
  • All other US locations: $136,000 - $176,000

Actual offered salaries will vary based on factors such as calibrated job level, qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency.
