About the Role

This position focuses on the company's key Partnership Program. The Partner Account Manager will be responsible for engaging, building, and developing Human Interest’s key accounts and identifying growth opportunities. The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking, highly organized, and self-motivated sales professional capable of succeeding in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role is crucial for accelerating partner relationships and expanding our reach to small and medium businesses across the United States, directly contributing to the company's growth. The position requires proactivity, creativity, and the ability to exercise independent judgment and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, build, and amplify referral relationships with tech partners, human capital management (HCM) partners, benefit brokers, CPAs, and financial advisors within the SMB sector.
  • Create and build strategic referral networks and partnerships focused on lead generation and new partnership opportunities.
  • Proactively identify and resolve emerging issues, offering solutions by collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing, Legal, and Finance teams.
  • Partner with the Marketing team to innovate and execute unique initiatives that promote partner sales, including educational events, email campaigns, and webinars.
  • Work with partners to establish business goals and performance metrics (e.g., pipeline depth, revenue generation) to develop and execute effective go-to-market strategies and demand-generation activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in building, developing, and maintaining relationships with tech and HCM partners, benefit brokers, CPAs, and financial advisors in the SMB space, including territory sales and business development experience.
  • Proven track record of success in a quota-driven sales environment.
  • Highly motivated individual contributor and relationship builder who can operate independently.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
  • Resilience, resourcefulness, and the ability to find creative solutions to challenges.
  • Solutions-oriented mindset with a willingness to manage and resolve operational partnership issues.
