The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Channel/Partner Sales Manager or Technical Sales Executive within the DACH security and IT customer segment, with a history of success at a Tier I Cloud/SaaS company. They should possess over 3 years of experience in developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements, and over 5 years of strong industry experience with strategic thinking and acting capabilities. Excellent executive communication, speaking, and presentation skills for both small and large groups are essential. The role requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in Salesforce, experience in creating business development plans and rigorously tracking KPIs, and a proven track record of building and scaling a partner ecosystem from the ground up. The candidate must be a player-coach, able to transition between hands-on partner sales and strategic planning, and be willing to travel up to 40% within Germany and Switzerland.
The Partner Sales Manager will identify strategic partners within the DACH region, focusing on growing Tines' business opportunities through VAR/Reseller and Systems Integrator channels. They will be responsible for increasing the number of partner-sourced opportunities and deal registrations, working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and sales operations teams. Additionally, the role involves driving engagement, attendance, and enablement at customer and partner events, serving as the internal thought leader on third-party go-to-market strategies within the DACH Channel, and developing holistic, strategic partner plans. The manager will also build and maintain deep business and technical relationships with DACH partners by leveraging extensive industry knowledge and network, and contribute to the EMEA Partner Marketing strategy and execution through best practices in market presence.
