Requirements

  • Highschool Diploma or GED
  • 4-year degree in sales, marketing or engineering OR 2-year technical degree in an industrial discipline, mechanics or related field (preferred)
  • 2+ years industrial sales experience (preference given to sales experience within the renewable energy market and customers)
  • Demonstrated knowledge or experience of wind turbine components, repair, and maintenance (a plus)
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer proficiency
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift items weighing as much as 50lbs
  • Willingness to travel overnight

Responsibilities

  • Work with your Manager to create a sales plan to develop new customers and maintain existing accounts
  • Proactively identify, engage, and build relationships with key decision-makers at IPPs
  • Regularly visit clients, perform on-site assessments, and promote our solutions
  • Manage territory, projected sales and build/maintain business relationships
  • Full cycle prospecting activities including qualification of leads, cold calls, and sales presentations
  • Utilization of tools, resources and CRM to plan and manage time and territory
