Candidates should have a minimum of two years of business-to-business (B2B) outside sales experience, preferred, a valid current driver’s license and auto insurance, the ability to work well independently and as part of a team, a hunter mentality with proactive lead generation skills, a professional demeanor and impeccable integrity, a high sense of urgency, the ability to self-source leads through prospecting, cold-calling, and networking, a proactive and self-motivated learning approach, a strong drive to achieve personal goals, and alignment with Xplor’s four core values, as well as comfort with ambiguity and an ever-evolving environment.
The Outside Sales Account Executive will develop and maintain relationships with small to medium sized business owners, work closely with internal departments such as Customer Service, Underwriting, IT, and Sales Support to onboard new business, manage the sales pipeline and daily tasks/appointments using Salesforce, prepare presentations and proposals using Clearent by Xplor’s electronic applications, educate merchants and business owners on the payment processing industry, maintain regular communication with sales leadership, and close sales of payment processing services to meet expected minimum requirements.
