Requirements

Candidates must possess deductive reasoning ability, advanced analytical skills, and computer proficiency. Strong advanced communication, leadership, supervision, and influencing skills are also required. The ability to work a full-time flexible schedule, including early mornings, overnights, weekends, overtime, and respond to urgent issues, is necessary. Prior experience as a retail manager or supervisor is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

The Operations Manager will support the Store Manager in the overall leadership and strategic operation of a CVS/pharmacy store, focusing on driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty through excellent customer service. This includes overall store management, supervision, policy implementation, sales and inventory management, employee staffing, training, and development, financial management, and customer service leadership. The role involves leading others, supervising and directing store crew activities, communicating effectively with the store crew and supervisors, and supporting the Store Manager with action plans for operational and service improvements. Additionally, the Operations Manager will assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints and promote the CVS customer service culture.
