Candidates should have experience managing site and charging operations, coordinating with operations partners and third-party vendors, and overseeing the upkeep, repair, and performance of EV charging equipment and associated building systems. Experience with property and building management, including security, cameras, lighting, and janitorial services, is necessary. The role requires familiarity with monitoring charging hardware through software tools, troubleshooting issues, onboarding customers, and responding to customer inquiries. A background in performing routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on DC fast charging stations, including hardware and software components, is essential. The ability to identify and resolve issues related to EV charging functionality, network connectivity, and site-level infrastructure, along with developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures and accurate records, is required. Experience with spare parts inventory management and processing warranty claims is also necessary.
The Operations Manager will manage EV Realty’s site and charging operations to ensure high reliability and an exceptional customer experience. They will lead internal and external operations support partners and staff, support the creation of supplier agreements, and assist in negotiations with key partners. The role involves managing and facilitating charging hardware and customer vehicle interoperability testing, leading customer onboarding to ensure smooth operational success for new fleets, and serving as the main point of contact for escalated customer operational questions and requests. Key responsibilities include establishing, monitoring, and tracking operational KPIs for vendor performance, collecting customer feedback to improve the charging experience and inform future site designs, and producing reports for the portfolio, sites, chargers, and customers. The Operations Manager will also help commission and launch new sites/chargers, perform routine inspections and diagnostics on EV charging stations, troubleshoot charging functionality and connectivity issues, and maintain documentation of maintenance activities and work orders. Additionally, they will manage spare parts inventory and process warranty claims, and support customers with charging planning.
