Candidates should possess deductive reasoning ability, advanced analytical skills, and computer skills, along with advanced communication skills, leadership, supervision, and influencing skills. They must be able to work a full-time flexible schedule, including early mornings, nights, and weekends, and be willing to work overtime and respond to urgent store issues. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and experience as a retail manager or supervisor is preferred.
The Operations Manager will lead and supervise the store crew, effectively communicate with them, and support the Store Manager in implementing operational and service improvement actions. They will assist customers with questions and complaints, promote CVS customer service culture, and manage sales and inventory. Additionally, the Operations Manager will be responsible for employee staffing, training, and development, as well as financial management, all while demonstrating initiative and leading by example within the CVS/pharmacy store.
