Requirements

Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and be at least 18 years of age. Previous experience in airport operations, including ramp or ground handling, is required, along with the ability to work in an airport environment and lift up to 100 pounds. A shift-based schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is necessary, as is the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. Candidates must also provide specific documentation to acquire a SIDA badge. Strong communication and problem-solving skills, proficiency in Microsoft products, and knowledge of aviation compliance are also required.

Responsibilities

The Operations Coordinator will maintain air-to-ground radio communications, coordinate gate assignments for aircraft, and provide updates on diversions and movements. They will communicate with various departments via Teams, inform management of irregular operations, and perform visual inspections of cargo bins. Responsibilities also include monitoring and following up on baggage services, ensuring all required forms and paperwork are completed and filed accurately, and verifying fuel slips. The role involves entering delay codes into NS2 and maintaining Crew Apps.
