Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree and over 7 years of experience in program management, product operations, or enterprise transformation roles. Proven success in delivering large, multi-workstream programs within healthcare, insurance, or similarly complex environments is essential. Strong communication skills with demonstrated experience managing senior stakeholders and executive-level reporting are required, along with expertise in program acceleration, risk mitigation, and managing cross-functional interdependencies. A solid understanding of customer journey design, experience transformation, and onboarding best practices is also necessary, as is the ability to translate strategic goals into actionable, measurable execution plans. An MBA, MPH, PhD, or graduate degree in a management field, experience with member onboarding or lifecycle programs, familiarity with CMS regulations, digital health ecosystems, and customer communication platforms, and success in matrixed environments are preferred qualifications.

Responsibilities

The Onboarding Program/Strategy Advancement Principal will serve as the Product Owner for Humana’s onboarding transformation program, ensuring strategic alignment and operational integration across all workstreams. This role involves partnering with the Onboarding Strategy team to develop hypotheses, conduct analysis, and execute pilots to enhance the member onboarding experience. Key responsibilities include driving program planning, execution, and delivery across multiple cross-functional workstreams, leading executive communications, and maintaining core program artifacts, timelines, and governance documentation. The individual will identify opportunities for accelerated delivery, translate the onboarding vision into a cohesive delivery roadmap with clear milestones, and bring structure, clarity, and urgency to complex challenges while focusing on member outcomes. Additionally, the role includes leading and developing junior team members.
