Position Overview

Clipboard Health is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Onboarding Expert to join our growing team. As an Onboarding Expert, you will be the primary human point of contact for healthcare professionals (HCPs) after they sign up for our platform. Your role is crucial in guiding, supporting, and empowering these professionals as they begin their journey with Clipboard Health, helping them to take their first step in making a difference.

Our app-based marketplace allows professionals to book on-demand shifts and facilities to access on-demand talent. We are a YC Top Company with a global, remote team of over 600 people, profitable since 2022, and filling millions of shifts annually. We are passionate about fixing healthcare staffing and providing fast, fair, and flexible connections.

Responsibilities

  • Make approximately 75 outbound welcome calls daily to new professionals who signed up the previous day.
  • Host around 7 pre-booked 15-minute onboarding consultations with professionals.
  • Send follow-up emails and texts to address questions and ensure no professional is left unsupported.
  • Respond to inbound messages and support tickets promptly.
  • Maintain clear and thorough documentation of all interactions.
  • Act as a trusted guide, helping healthcare professionals feel confident, supported, and ready for their first shift.

  • Previous experience in inside sales, onboarding, or customer support is a plus but not required.

  • Not cold calling: You will only speak with professionals who have recently signed up.
  • Not technical support: While you'll guide users, deeper technical issues will be escalated.
  • Not repetitive: Each conversation is unique, requiring you to think on your feet.
