Requirements

Candidates must possess an active compact Registered Nurse (RN) license and be licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in Kansas or Missouri, with a minimum of four years of obstetrics experience as an APP, including treatment of high-risk patients and some experience caring for infants, along with a passion for optimizing evidence-based care and perinatal outcomes, experience using data to drive patient engagement, demonstrated effectiveness in leading successful teams, a sense of urgency to improve outcomes, exceptional organizational skills, a growth mindset, and familiarity with utilizing multiple tech platforms, as well as an eagerness for advising about platform improvements and adapting to new systems.

Responsibilities

The Obstetrics Care Provider will be accountable for improving clinical outcomes for empaneled patients by overseeing their medical care, attending daily clinical huddles focused on collaboration, reviewing complex patient cases, developing care plans, supporting the clinical team, monitoring adverse events, conducting clinical retrospectives, leading the development and review of evidence-based medical protocols and algorithms, actively participating in on-call schedules, and contributing to the improvement of Pomelo’s protocols.
