Requirements

Candidates must possess an active MD/DO license with board certification in either Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, along with at least two (2) years of telehealth experience and significant experience in weight management. Multiple state licenses are required, with a minimum of 10 licenses, and the ability to work at least 16 weekend hours per month, as well as 4 holidays and holiday weekends annually. Physicians are required to have collaborative agreements with up to 10 Advanced Practice Providers, and must not have any restrictions to be credentialed with Medicaid or other payers.

Responsibilities

As a Staff Physician - Weight Management, you will consult and treat patients experiencing a variety of conditions, proactively check in with patients on their treatment plans, collaborate cross functionally for operational support as needed, respond to patient messages and adjust treatment plans accordingly, and provide feedback to improve quality of care and operational processes. You will also be responsible for delivering empathetic, high-quality care, providing patient education, and being willing to work across various conditions/service lines, while remaining comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
