A demonstrated technical knowledge of Next Generation Sequencing applications is essential. A Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in Biology or a similar field is preferred. Experience with Salesforce.com is also preferred. Key attributes include drive, determination, self-motivation, scientific problem-solving skills, technical depth in synthetic biology applications, excellent consultative selling skills, strong relationship management, teamwork, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to thrive in a start-up environment and demonstrate strategic thinking.
The NGS Sales Specialist is responsible for achieving quarterly and annual revenue targets within their territory, delivering accurate and timely revenue forecasts, and developing key relationships with new and existing customers.
