Position Overview

  • Salary: $150,000 - $180,000 (eligible for bonus/incentive pay)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience in biological sciences (biology, chemistry, biochemistry) OR Master’s degree in a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) Oncology product management or a relevant technical environment.
  • Demonstrated assay commercialization experience in genomics, NGS, or related industries (including chemistry, software, and bioinformatics products).
  • 2+ years of experience in high-touchpoint customer-facing roles.
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 20% domestically and internationally.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PhD in biological sciences (biology, chemistry, biochemistry) or a related field.
  • Demonstrated understanding of competitors, technologies, trends, and key challenges in the NGS and oncology research market.
  • 5+ years of experience in the biotechnology, genomics, NGS industry, or other relevant technical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an annual strategic plan to achieve product revenue and margin growth objectives, driving actions for sustainable growth and strategic objective completion.
  • Serve as a commercial subject matter expert and product champion internally and externally.
  • Analyze and communicate customer feedback, market trends, competitor performance, sales channels, and regulatory requirements, managing responses accordingly.
  • Manage all aspects of the product life cycle, including new product launch and execution of obsolescence to meet product strategy.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to develop effective positioning strategies, marketing campaigns, collateral, sales and support tools, and training programs to drive growth.
  • Partner with Quality Assurance and Operations on supply issues and own communications for commercial teams and customers when necessary.
