Requirements

Candidates should possess 10+ years of equivalent life science capital sales experience, demonstrated experience working with key clinical and research accounts in the Los Angeles, CA area, and a foundational understanding of next generation sequencing (NGS) and genotyping. Knowledge of clinical and research applied genetics and genomics is required, along with success working within a highly collaborative, team setting and independently generating leads.

Responsibilities

The Executive Territory Account Manager will develop and implement territory and account-specific sales plans to ensure achievement of sales objectives and growth targets, adjust sales plans based on changing needs, engage in accurate forecasting and sales pipeline management, proactively utilize and maintain a CRM database, deliver technical seminars and presentations on Illumina products, demonstrate the relevance of the product portfolio, and provide consultation to customers. They will also drive complex sales within multi-layered environments and establish long-term customer relationships.
