Responsibilities

The Naturalist will engage the public at various assigned locations throughout the aquarium, educating them about the various species and habitats; they will promote Shark Reef’s conservation mission, goals, and objectives, creating a positive guest experience; monitor guest behavior to ensure both public and animal safety by enforcing exhibit guidelines; report abnormal situations to supervisors or animal care teams; support temporary or permanent secondary attractions through interpretation or maintaining guest experience based on exhibit-specific needs; support Shark Reef Educators with field trips, classroom sessions, educational outreach, and special event days assisting with large groups of visitors of all ages.
