Candidates should possess an Associate’s degree in Electro/Mechanical Systems or a related curriculum, or a Bachelor’s degree in poultry science or a related field from an accredited institution, and typically require 1-5 years of related experience. Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are preferred, along with proven mechanical aptitude, proficiency in organizational skills, and being a self-motivator and self-starter. Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, judgment, and initiative are also necessary, along with effective communication skills and basic computer skills using Word/Excel/Outlook.
The Field Service Specialist will manage the Hatchery Inovo Process for Zoetis, executing customer service programs and performing preventive maintenance on electrical/mechanical equipment in poultry hatcheries. They will also conduct emergency repairs, participate in territory after-hours support, manage the Zoetis Operator Training Program, facilitate vaccine and sanitation preparation, support the Process Evaluation Program, utilize Zoetis Fieldaware System for reporting, follow safety procedures, communicate regularly with supervisors, and travel 60-80% of the time to assigned hatcheries.”} ID: 12345
