Requirements

Candidates must possess at least 3 years of primary teaching experience, prior experience with educator coaching or delivering professional development is a plus, and a strong knowledge of Seesaw and/or its use in the classroom is strongly preferred. Exceptional presentation skills, organizational abilities, critical thinking skills, a quick learning aptitude, a positive and proactive attitude, and comfort with technology, particularly Google Suite, are required. The role also necessitates being tech-savvy, comfortable using technology to present and demonstrate, and willingness to travel if needed, along with flexibility to work a flexible schedule when customer demands require it, especially during peak season. Preference is given to candidates residing in the Eastern Time Zone and close to a major airport.

Responsibilities

The Professional Development and Training Specialist will deliver virtual or onsite professional development and training to support the effective use of Seesaw, maintain pre and post session documentation and notes in designated systems, and send follow-up resources to customers via email. They will also check their calendar, Slack, and email daily for updates, maintain a strong knowledge of the latest Seesaw features and support resources, and promptly raise any customer issues, helping to resolve and communicate back to the customer as needed. The Specialist will collaborate with the team, provide a values-driven and supportive attitude, and work at a sustainable pace while adhering to Seesaw’s flexible vacation policy.
