Essential skills include strong written and verbal communication, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint), and experience with syndicated data sources like IRI/Nielsen. The ability to travel up to 30% of the work schedule is also required. Experience managing the Sweet Baked Snacks Category is considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

The National Account Manager will serve as the sales lead for the Sweet Baked Snacks category, driving profitable sales growth for both the company and key customers (Target/Meijer) by adopting a general manager mindset. Responsibilities include owning and managing strategic planning through cross-functional collaboration, delivering top-line sales and bottom-line profit targets, and managing annual planning and execution. This involves financial acumen, negotiation skills, strategic thinking, building and maintaining relationships with key customers and internal constituents, developing strategies for brand/category growth, leading negotiations for joint business planning, influencing customer partners with fact-based presentations, supporting Supply Chain for solutions and efficiencies, leveraging Omni Marketing capabilities, and managing everyday business execution including trade budgets, forecasting, and ad-hoc analysis.
