Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master degree or equivalent
  • Experience from IVD laboratory diagnostics business
  • Experience from molecular laboratory field (mandatory)
  • Experience from sales (preferable but not mandatory if strong experience from molecular diagnostic field)
  • Strong experience maintaining and developing customer relationships
  • Native in local language/English & other languages advantageous
  • Willingness to travel regularly (average 70%, up to 75% of the time)

Responsibilities

  • Manage and expand molecular activities for assigned customers in the defined country territory
  • Act as Advisor/consultant to customers
  • Handle retention & value expansion with assigned existing and new possible accounts
  • Acquire new business
  • Manage renewals of expiring contracts or new tenders from existing customers, including price negotiations to ensure right prices
  • Establish value propositions and build business cases
  • Maintain post-sale involvement with customers
  • Develop broad relationships with key molecular lab stakeholders, including decision-making units, clinicians, and purchasing departments
  • Serve customer requests and forward them to the respective Service department for technical and applicational questions
  • Become advisor/consultant to customers on lab productivity, use, and/or design
  • Work actively in CRM system, keeping customer data up to date, reporting activities and market data
  • Act as single point of contact that responds to customers promptly
