Responsibilities

Image Data Quality Assurance

  • Ensures Quality, including Protocol Compliance and Technical Adequacy, of Image Data by:
    • Reviewing and analyzing image data for clarity and quality.
    • Verifying image data is in compliance with project protocol requirements.
    • Generating image queries when needed.
    • Working with the therapeutic team to notify Sponsor/Site for proper resolution of quality issues.
    • Assisting in archiving data for completed projects.

Image Analysis Functions

  • Performs other Image Analysis Functions as may be Required by:
    • Performing measurements as a protocol reader, when applicable.
    • Performing client or internal demonstrations of pre-quants and analysis.
    • Reviewing and preparing images for submission to client and/or agency.

Study Startup and Site Support

  • Performs Study Startup Functions and Supports Sites Throughout the Study as may be Required by:
    • Reviewing evaluations of potential clinical research sites and verifying the accuracy of information.
    • Providing support for technical imaging-related issues.
    • Performing study initiation/technical visits to educate site personnel on imaging procedures.
    • Assisting in the design and implementation of study-related forms.
    • Assisting in writing and reviewing imaging guidelines/manuals.
    • Assisting in reviewing site questionnaires.

Quality Service and Departmental Standards

  • Maintains Quality Service and Departmental Standards by:
    • Reading, understanding, and adhering to organizational Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
    • Assisting in establishing and enforcing departmental standards.
    • Participating in user acceptance testing for new tools and software enhancements.
    • Participating in the modification of company SOPs related to IQR.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Contribute to Team Effort by:
    • Working with internal staff to resolve issues.
    • Exploring new opportunities to add value to organizational and departmental processes.
    • Helping others to achieve results.
    • Assisting in training new employees.
    • Performing other duties as assigned.

Data Preparation

  • Prepares Data for Processing by:
    • Performing image data translation and digitization.

Knowledge Maintenance

  • Maintains Technical and Industry Knowledge by:
    • Maintaining current board certification (if applicable) and obtaining related continuing education credits (CEUs).
    • Attending and participating in applicable company-sponsored training.

What We Look For

  • Current board certification in respective imaging modality.
  • Modality-related training; Associate/bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience as an Imaging Technologist or relevant clinical trial experience.
  • Experience with at least one imaging modality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
  • Experience in clinical trials or pharmaceutical environments preferred.
  • Strong communication skills (reading, writing, and verbal).
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, adjusting to changing priorities.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a professional and positive attitude.

Working Conditions

  • Travel: 0-15%
  • Lifting: 0-25 lbs.
  • Prolonged computer work
