Requirements

Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED, a minimum of three years of claims adjusting experience handling complex and severe first party and bodily injury claims with high exposures, and demonstrate detail orientation and a high level of accuracy. Strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work independently and as a team, and strong problem-solving skills are also required. Proficiency in MS Office and experience with Guidewire claims system is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Represented Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster will initiate thorough coverage and liability investigations, draft coverage letters as appropriate, evaluate and resolve moderate to severe bodily injury claims, obtain and analyze complex medical records, research and apply applicable laws in multiple states, submit timely large loss reports, prepare for and deliver presentations of high exposure cases, skillfully and professionally negotiate settlements with claimants and attorneys, adjust insurance policies for UM/UIM claims, and maintain timely reserve losses.
