Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field, along with at least 2 years of experience in underwriting or a similar role. Strong data entry skills and proficiency in using agency management systems are required, as is the ability to review documentation and ensure risk meets outlined requirements.
The Underwriting Analyst - MSI will be responsible for data importing and data entry of accounts into the agency management system, binding of coverage, sending policies and endorsements to brokers, and providing prompt and courteous service to underwriters, brokers, coworkers, and management. They will also handle documentation review, documentation maintenance and policy generation, 1st level customer and broker correspondence, processing of endorsements and legal notices, and assisting with Loss History reports, invoicing, and importing when needed. Additionally, the role includes training new Underwriting Analysts and handling escalated or more complex tasks, supporting the overall production and objectives of the department.
