Candidates must possess a tertiary education in Mechanical Engineering and a solid foundation of site-based experience working on a range of mechanical packages. Experience working on water projects (desalinisation) is desirable, along with the ability to understand design, problem solve, learn, adapt, and continually challenge oneself.
The Mechanical Site Engineer will be responsible for keeping management advised of all quality, schedule, and budget variances, managing resources, reviewing shop drawings, preparing project documents and reports, managing mechanical subcontractors, creating and enforcing project quality plans, entering data into various platforms, reporting safety, health, and quality issues, preparing contract amendments and claims documentation, supporting proposal opportunities, and assisting management as directed.
