Requirements

Two year degree in the mechanical field, electrical field, or a completed accredited apprenticeship
Five years of experience in machining, mechanical, or electrical maintenance
Preferred: Four (4) year Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree
Knowledge of hydraulic systems
Strong technical experience with high voltage systems, motor control, and process automation
Proficient in blueprint reading and troubleshooting of mechanical operations
Preferred: Experience supervising in a union environment
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work in both inside and outside environmental conditions, and be exposed to physical hazards, elevated noise levels, vibrations, and extreme cold and heat
Ability to effectively manage change
Must have a valid driver’s license
Eligible to work in the USA

Responsibilities

Supervise an assigned maintenance crew
Coordinate with operations
Implement a preventive maintenance program
Plan and follow through on maintenance repairs
Develop new skill levels for members of assigned maintenance crews
Enforce company policies and train the workforce on safe work practices
Schedule employee training sessions and meetings
Maintain the KRONOS pay system by reviewing, editing, and approving employee timecards daily
Assist in procuring, organizing, and inventorying parts and materials needed for repairs
