Who are we?

We are The Motley Fool, a purpose-driven financial services firm with nearly 30 years of experience focused on making the world smarter, happier, and richer. We help “Fools” (always with a capital “F”) demystify the world of finance, beat the stock market, and achieve personal wealth and happiness through our products and services.

What does this team do?

Our Member Marketing team is focused on profitably growing our business and expanding the reach of our brand. We execute multiple simultaneous campaigns—from upsell and cross-sell windows to evergreen and automated programs—each with their own creative assets, technical elements, and strategic goals.

What you’ll be doing:

Campaign Strategy & Ideation

  • Lead the creation of direct-response marketing campaigns that drive engagement and revenue.
  • Turn member insights, business priorities, and creative ideas into high-performing initiatives across upsell, cross-sell, and retention efforts.

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee end-to-end campaign execution, ensuring all creative, technical, and performance elements come together seamlessly.
  • Use tools, systems, and collaboration to deliver consistent, high-quality work at scale.

Data-Driven Experimentation

  • Design and run A/B and multivariate tests to validate ideas and optimize campaign performance.
  • Continuously iterate on what works, using analytics and feedback loops to drive improvement.

AI & Martech Integration

  • Champion the use of AI tools like ChatGPT and our internal platforms to boost personalization, productivity, and scale.
  • Look for opportunities to automate, streamline, and future-proof our marketing operations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with designers, developers, data analysts, legal, and leadership to align on goals, prioritize initiatives, and execute cross-team projects effectively.

Trendspotting & Innovation

  • Stay on the cutting edge of digital marketing and direct-response strategies.
  • Be the one to bring fresh, bold ideas to the table and pilot new approaches with an R&D mindset.

Tool Proficiency & Ownership

  • Become a power user of proprietary internal tools alongside Braze, Jira, Google Analytics, and Tableau.
  • Leverage these tools for greater insight, efficiency, and impact.

Member-Centric Thinking

  • Keep the member experience at the heart of your work.
  • Ensure we’re delivering the right offers and content, in the right format, at the right time.

Requirements
