Candidates should have over 4 years of experience designing high-performing marketing creative with a portfolio demonstrating measurable growth impact. Deep fluency in channel best practices across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and Display is required, along with refined design sensibility and the ability to break down creative performance. Experience showcasing app UI/UX in marketing creative and fluency in Figma, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop are essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, cross-functional environments are also necessary.
The Marketing Designer will collaborate with the Acquisition team to generate, optimize, and repurpose paid creative assets. They will adapt and evolve Propel's brand system for different platforms, create scalable templates and systems for fast iteration, and ideate new creative concepts to improve performance. The role involves ensuring creative cohesion across all touchpoints, championing the brand system, and fostering a culture of speed and iteration. Support for design needs beyond marketing, including in-app visuals and editorial content, is also expected, with a focus on centering empathy for low-income users in all creative output.
Mobile app for managing social benefits
Propel focuses on improving access to social welfare resources for low-income Americans through its mobile app, Providers. This app allows users to easily check their EBT balances without needing to call a customer service number, making it more convenient for them to manage their benefits. Additionally, Providers offers personalized deals, such as coupons and resources, to help users save money, as well as job postings that cater to various schedules, from temporary gigs to full-time positions. Propel distinguishes itself from competitors by specifically targeting the needs of low-income individuals who are often neglected by traditional tech solutions. The company's goal is to enhance the user experience of America's safety net and to raise awareness about critical issues like Medicaid churn, ensuring that users can navigate these challenges effectively.
