Requirements

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Networking, or a related field, or equivalent experience, along with 8+ years of experience in network operations, including at least 4 years in a leadership role. Strong technical knowledge of broadband and Ethernet protocols, proven ability to manage complex projects, excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, experience with operational reporting tools and data analysis, and strong organizational skills are required. Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools, familiarity with vendor platforms like Nokia, Cisco, Juniper, Calix, or Adtran, and project management experience in telecommunications are considered bonus points.

Responsibilities

The Manager, Network Operations will lead a team responsible for the activation, augmentation, maintenance, and optimization of broadband and Ethernet networks, ensuring operational excellence through managing network element lifecycle activities. Responsibilities include overseeing service delivery, managing activation and augmentation, ensuring efficient execution of grooming, capacity upgrades, and decommissioning, providing monthly performance reports, developing KPIs and analytics, conducting team meetings and one-on-ones, managing team performance, balancing priorities, providing technical leadership, explaining complex technical information, driving process improvements, and partnering with cross-functional teams for new technology implementation. Occasional travel may be required.
