Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school + 13 years; Assoc. + 9 years; M.S. + 2 years), the ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English, and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience along with 3 years of demonstrated leadership. Advanced Ophthalmic surgical/technical skills and knowledge are also required.
As a Refractive Surgical Consultant, the individual will provide regional on-label post-install sales support and technical selling for WaveLight® products, emphasizing premium procedural selling, and working closely with Wavelight Managers, Division Managers, and the Refractive team to optimize sales initiatives and product adoption. They will consult with physicians, surgeons, key opinion leaders, and key customer decision-makers, maintain a high level of technical knowledge on surgical products, be accountable for assigned sales objectives, and manage Business Objectives assigned by management.
