Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 15 years of relevant experience in FMCG, Food, Pharma, or similar industries. A minimum of 5 years of management experience leading multidisciplinary teams (Electrical, Mechanical, Automation/Instrumentation & Projects) is required. Fluency in English, strong interpersonal skills, stakeholder management, analytical and execution skills, knowledge of problem-solving tools and TPM, and people management skills are essential.

Responsibilities

The Manager of Engineering & Projects will provide leadership to the Engineering Function, including Utilities, Projects, E&I, Maintenance & Reliability, and Facilities, ensuring safety, quality, environmental control, production output, and utility cost objectives are met. This role involves implementing operational structures, maintaining utility equipment to the highest safety standards, leading continuous improvement initiatives through the Utility Excellence Program and OpEx tools, and setting/tracking departmental goals using KPIs. Responsibilities also include establishing preventive and predictive maintenance programs, ensuring continuous engineering support for manufacturing operations, leading capital projects and commissioning, anticipating and correcting crisis situations, collaborating with regional teams on UEx initiatives, encouraging knowledge sharing, partnering with HR for recruitment, ensuring contractor compliance with GMP and EHS norms, overseeing wastewater treatment plant statutory compliance, maintaining vendor and statutory body relationships, and participating in audits while developing CAPA plans.
