Candidates should have at least 8 years of quota-carrying sales experience in a competitive market, with a focus on growing consumption within accounts or territories. Prior experience in Big Data, Consumption, Cloud, SaaS, Open Source, or Enterprise IT Solutions is required, along with previous sales methodology training (e.g., MEDDPICC, Challenger). Proven experience in leading and executing complex sales strategies to drive revenue growth, a consistent track record of overachieving quota, and the ability to articulate business value are essential. Exceptional relationship-building, customer relations, and negotiation skills are also necessary, with a BS/BA degree or equivalent preferred. Openness to travel to customer locations is required.
The Strategic Enterprise Account Executive will be responsible for driving revenue growth in large, complex Public Sector Accounts in Singapore. This includes proactively prospecting, identifying, qualifying, developing, and closing sales pipelines while growing consumption in existing customer accounts. The role involves leading and executing strategic, complex sales cycles, demonstrating the value of Confluent solutions to C-level executives, and becoming an expert on Confluent offerings and the competitive landscape. Responsibilities also include developing a deep understanding of customer strategies and business goals to act as a trusted advisor, and collaborating closely with partner ecosystem teams, Solutions Engineering, Professional Services, and Customer Success Management to achieve sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction.
