Candidates should have 4+ years of industry experience selling B2B SaaS products to developers, preferably in the Apache Kafka space. Experience with MEDDIC, closing enterprise or large mid-market deals in the US, and strong communication skills are essential. A solid understanding of streaming systems like Apache Kafka, Pulsar, Rabbit MQ, or JMS, along with Linux operating systems, is required. Previous experience in an early-stage startup or working with partners like Hyperscalers, ISVs, and RSIs is a plus.
The Sales Engineer will collaborate with the sales team to demonstrate Conduktor's value throughout the sales cycle, including demos and proof of concepts. They will analyze client challenges to recommend platform solutions for data streaming processes, participate in sales meetings, and provide technical training to the sales team. Responsibilities also include staying updated on industry developments, creating technical content, assisting with technical onboarding, and supporting trial phases.
