High School diploma or GED
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role or manufacturing environment
Preferred: 2-year degree in industrial technology or 3 years’ experience related to industrial electrical, industrial welding, or industrial plumbing
Experience with facility maintenance and equipment maintenance
Knowledge of sheet metal equipment (Laser and Press Brake preferred)
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks in a complex, fast-paced environment
Basic understanding and experience with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
Leadership qualities and self-starter attitude

Responsibilities

Assist Maintenance Technicians in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing plant machinery and equipment
Gain knowledge of the facility-wide preventative maintenance program
Work with machine OEMs and troubleshoot/repair equipment
Utilize a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) application for managing work orders, repairs, and root cause analysis (RCA)
Perform facility and equipment audits
Communicate technical information through written and oral documentation
Ensure critical information is communicated during shift turnovers
Operate forklifts and company vehicles as required
Support Lean initiatives (6S, Kanban, Standardized Work, TPM, RCA, and Kaizen)
Participate in the Maintenance “On-Call” and shift rotation
Willingness to complete maintenance certification training
