Requirements

  • Mechanical or Chemical Engineering degree with 5 or more years of relevant experience
  • Three to five years in a supervisory or management role preferred
  • Experience managing with a maintenance software system preferred
  • Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Must be RCRA compliant

Responsibilities

  • Direct operations of Plant Maintenance and contractors to ensure efficient use of plant resources to meet customer requirements
  • Direct Maintenance Department to maintain plant equipment safely and efficiently, completing repairs on time
  • Carry out capital projects utilizing plant maintenance department
  • Manage maintenance related expenses at or below budget levels
  • Supervise activities, procedures, and standards of performance for Maintenance personnel following SOP’s, safety, and regulatory policies
  • Maintain and develop PM database for work orders, preventive maintenance schedules, LO/TO, equipment histories, inventories, and engineering files
  • Ensure standard operating procedure documents are current, trained, and updated as necessary
  • Address safety and regulatory issues, conducting training to meet Hydrite and regulatory agency requirements
  • Communicate information to Maintenance Personnel and enforce plant housekeeping standards
  • Guide employee performance and development through daily communication and annual performance evaluations
  • Uphold Hydrite Standard of Excellence by maintaining quality facilities and providing quality products/services
  • Perform all duties outlined in relevant SOPs and other assigned duties
  • Participate in RCRA, regulatory, health & safety, and process training; review changes with supervisor
  • Enter PM’s and Work Orders
  • Serve as active member of TH Emergency Response Team
  • Assist in Confined Space Entry, Hot Work, LO/TO of equipment
  • Organize and maintain vendor file for equipment, parts, etc
  • Develop and execute corrective actions for deficiencies found during plant audits
  • Submit monthly status report for Maintenance Department with performance statistics and critical activity
  • Work with staff to maintain workload balances and provide back-up support
  • Support effective communication with Hydrite departments where responsibilities overlap
