Requirements

  • Ability to safely use basic hand tools and small power tools
  • Physical ability to lift heavy items, climb ladders, and perform manual labor for extended periods
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn on the job
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends if needed

Responsibilities

  • Assist maintenance technicians with routine repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance tasks
  • Perform basic duties such as painting, light plumbing, changing light bulbs, and simple carpentry
  • Support with physical tasks, including moving equipment, materials, or furniture as required
  • Help maintain common areas, grounds, and building exteriors by performing basic cleaning and upkeep
  • Monitor supply inventory and notify the supervisor when stock needs to be replenished
  • Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored
  • Respond to work orders and resident requests promptly and professionally
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies while performing tasks
  • Assist with emergency maintenance situations as needed
